What’s Nickelytics?

Nickelytics is a mobile promoting company that pays freelancers to position advertisements on their cars and drive as usual.

How it really works

To enroll, you’ve got to download the Nickelytics app through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You’ll also fill in some details about how much and where you drive, in addition to the form of automotive you might have and other basic information.

The location will then ask you to maintain the app running within the background, so it might probably track your movement. That is geared toward ensuring you meet the necessities and finding a campaign that operates where you drive.

Requirements

Nevertheless, to qualify for a campaign, it’s essential to:

  • You will need to be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Your vehicle needs to be not more than 10 years old
  • You will need to drive a minimum of 30 miles/day, 150 miles/week, and 600 miles/month
  • Rideshare and delivery drivers are preferred, but not required.

Nickelytics review

In the event you do get a campaign, the positioning will present you with a contract that spells out the name of the advertiser, the length and requirements of the campaign, and the pay. You may have the suitable to just accept or reject.

In the event you accept the campaign, the positioning will arrange an appointment to get your automotive wrapped. And the positioning will expect you to maintain the Nickelytics app running within the background in your phone in order that it might probably track your location data and report it to the advertiser.

What should you don’t meet the necessities in any given month? Then your pay could be withheld. Carlo Chica, Nickelytics director of operations, says this rarely happens. Lower than 1% of driver payments have been withheld for non-performance over the past three years, he says.

Pay

Nickelytics says the positioning generally pays between $150 – $175 monthly for a partial wrap and $250 monthly, while you wrap the complete automotive. But, occasionally a campaign can pay as much as $500 monthly.

Importantly, outside of driving a set variety of miles monthly in a campaign area — which you’d be doing anyway, should you qualify for a campaign — there isn’t a additional work required to earn this pay.

The catch?

There aren’t a whole lot of campaigns — particularly should you live and work in a comparatively rural area.

And Nickelytics has had some technical glitches with its mileage tracking software that has many users complaining that the app simply didn’t track their miles. The location says it’s aware of the software glitch and imagine that it’s fixed.

Recommendations

There are three reputable corporations that provide automotive promoting campaigns. And, should you drive quite a bit, you might need to join with all of them to spice up your likelihood of getting a gig.  Like Nickelytics, the opposite automotive promoting corporations have more potential drivers than advertisers. So, figure you would possibly get a gig a few times a 12 months, should you’re lucky.

What Nickelytics users say (from the Apple App Store)

Used the app for about 6 weeks, sometimes it records miles, sometimes they only go away. Definitely driven enough to at the least possibly hear from someone for a possible contract or something. Just nothing. Pretty sure they only sell your tracking data. This also really drains your battery.

Within the lower than a month I put almost 8000 miles on my automotive. I assumed they might use me for promoting as a result of the big demographic area that was driven in So Cal. Nope. High Desert(Joshua Tree) to the Coachella Valley(Palm Springs) to Orange County (Irvine) to downtown Los Angeles.

From Google Play

So I had a set-to all the time and I even have the app open and I did quite just a few miles yesterday and it doesn’t show any of the miles that I did yesterday and if I hit refresh everytime I hit refresh increase but then when I’m going back over to have a look at my trip log it shows 0 miles. I used to be offered a campaign is presupposed to start November sixth for 10 months I don’t see how I’m going to receives a commission properly if the app can’t log my miles properly. I even have 2 phones 1 Android/Uber & 1 iPhone/Lyft not working on either

App doesn’t track

I made sure I even have all permissions enabled but still the app is just not tracking my miles. I drive for a living so I must have accrued quote a little bit of miles but as an alternative, on a regular basis it shows 0 miles driven

Tracking miles isn’t working. I set the placement to all the time on. But I still should open the app for it to truly track. After which the miles for the month zero out every single day so none are accumulating.
